Ezekiel Amari McGee

As a Diversity Fellow, Ezekiel Amari McGee is a member of the Content Support Services team and participates in metadata creation and the department’s DEI efforts. Their library experience includes extensive work on digital projects in medieval studies, developing outreach campaigns, processing serials, and creating finding aids for archival materials. Highlights of Ezekiel’s DEI activities within libraries and cultural heritage organizations include their involvement in the creation of a Black Lives Matter statement for the St. John Fisher University library and the development of assessment plans for the Syracuse University Art Museum to engage with the Black, immigrant and refugee communities.
Ezekiel is a member of the ARL 2022-2024 class of the Kaleidoscope program, and has an M.A. in English and an MLS from Syracuse University. They have an adorable and mischievous cat named Sid. Ezekiel is an avid gamer and loves playing and collecting tabletop role-playing games.
