Bob works closely with the Library’s subject liaisons, personnel in other Library departments, and with campus faculty, staff, and students to help create an environment of evidence-based collections acquisition, management and review. Bob has been working at UC Davis since 1999, initially hired as the engineering librarian for the Physical Sciences and Engineering Library. After 15 years, he moved to the newly formed Collection Strategies Department in 2014. He has over 20 years of substantial professional experience building and managing collections at both the local and consortial levels. Beyond work, he enjoys family, friends, good food, wine, music and baseball.
