Archives and Special Collections welcomes students, faculty and members of the general public to visit us.
Starting July 15, 2024, we are moving to reduced Summer Hours through September 20, 2024. During this period, we are open Monday-Wednesday, 10-12pm and 1-3pm, and closed Thursdays, Fridays, and weekends. Patrons planning an extended research visit to Archives and Special Collections during this period may reach out to Kevin Miller, Department Head, to discuss maximizing their visit to Archives and Special Collections.
Keep in mind that materials often need to be retrieved from offsite for your visit. We recommend planning your visit a week or more in advance to ensure you get access to all the materials you need.

Class Visits to Archives and Special Collections
Archives and Special Collections welcomes opportunities to collaborate with instructors from UC Davis and outside of campus to provide hands-on learning experiences and skill development in using primary sources.
