Library to Resume Recalls and Billing on July 1

Beginning July 1, 2022, the Library is resuming all normal, pre-pandemic circulation/borrowing operations. What does this mean for library users?

Recalls: UC Davis faculty, staff, and student users will once again be able to recall material that is on loan to other users. Currently, recalls may only be placed by Course Reserves and Interlibrary Loan units. Users will be notified by email if their library material is recalled. Recalled material must be returned by the new recall due date. If you need a postage-paid mailing label, please contact shieldsinterloan@ucdavis.edu.

Past due recalled material will result in billing and suspension of library privileges until the material is returned or paid for.

Billing: Overdue fines for Course Reserves and recalled materials, as well as processing fees and replacement charges for lost or damaged material, will all resume on July 1. If you have past due materials, please renew or return them prior to July 1 to avoid billing. If you need a postage-paid mailing label, please contact shieldsinterloan@ucdavis.edu.

For more information, please visit our Accounts and Borrowing page, or contact UC Davis Library Circulation at 530-752-9850 or shieldscirc@ucdavis.edu.
