JoVE: New Content and Services

Members of the UC Davis and UC Davis Health communities have free access to library-licensed materials including JoVE (Journal of Visualized Experiments), a peer-reviewed scientific video journal that publishes methods articles accompanied by videos of experiments. JoVE is a great resource for students, clinicians and instructors, and recently added new content and services:

Research

JoVE’s new Encyclopedia of Experiments offers an online video encyclopedia of experiments for biology and cancer research. JoVE also covers numerous lab techniques for translational research and biotechnology.

Disciplines covered include: behavior, biochemistry, bioengineering, biology, cancer research, chemistry, developmental biology, engineering, environment, genetics, immunology and infection, medicine, and neuroscience.

Education

For educators, JoVE now has a dedicated consultant for UC Davis who will map JoVE videos to your course syllabus, including helping make them accessible through your learning management system. To ask about this service, contact customersuccess@jove.com.

JoVE education content includes biology, molecular biology, chemistry, environmental sciences, physics, engineering, psychology, and clinical skills (e.g., physical exam, nursing skills, emergency medicine and critical care, coronavirus procedures).
