The Lang Prize recognizes undergraduate students who make exceptional use of library resources, services or expertise for a class project. Apply here if you’ve completed a research project for a class during Spring 2021, Summer 2021, Fall 2021, or Winter 2022 quarters.
Award Categories for Undergraduate Students
- Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences: first prize, $1,000; second prize, $750; third prize, $500
- Science, Engineering & Mathematics: first prize, $1,000; second prize, $750; third prize $500

A bequest from UC Davis Professor Emerita of botany professor Norma J. Lang funds the prize, which helps raise awareness and interest among undergraduate students about the many ways the UC Davis Library can support their academic success.
