New Grants Index available through Web of Science
The UC Davis Library provides access to the new Grants Index on the Web of Science platform. The Grants Index is a specialized database for searching research funding grants that contains over 5 million grant award records, 1953 to present, from over 400 funding agencies and more than 15 countries.
To use the resource, start in the Web of Science platform from the Library’s A-Z Database List (for information on accessing licensed library resources from off-campus, please see Off-Campus Access to Library Materials).
To access the Grants Index within the Web of Science platform, select “Grants Index” from the drop-down menu in the main search screen.
To find grant records for UC Davis, select “Address” from search drop-down menu, and enter University of California-Davis in the search box.
The new Grants Index helps to identify and analyze previously funded projects as well as publications associated with grants. However, as with any resource, the data are not perfect. Grant data may not be listed for all funders.
