Aeon Registration for First Time Users

Registration is free, easy and required in order to request and view materials

Materials in Special Collections are non-circulating and may only be viewed in the Special Collections Reading Room. All users of Archives and Special Collections materials must register as a researcher prior to viewing or requesting materials. When accessing the system for the first time you will be directed to logon and then register as a first time user.

UC Davis Affiliates

  • Go to aeon.library.ucdavis.edu
  • Choose Aeon Logon for UC Davis Faculty, Staff and Students and click Logon.
  • Enter your Kerberos username and password.
  • Click the First Time Users button.
  • Read and accept the conditions of the first time user registration information by checking the box at the end of the registration form and selecting First Time Users Click Here. You must check this box in order to register.
  • Complete the registration form (required fields are marked with a red asterisk).
  • Click Submit Information.

Non-UC Davis Affiliates

  • Go to aeon.library.ucdavis.edu
  • Choose Aeon Logon for Non-UC Davis and click Logon.
  • Click the First Time Users button.
  • Read and accept the conditions of the first time user registration information by checking the box at the end of the registration form and selecting First Time Users Click Here. You must check this box in order to register.
  • Complete the registration form (required fields are marked with a red asterisk). Your username will be the email address you use to create your account.
  • Enter a password. Passwords must be at least eight characters long and contain a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter, and a number. No spaces are allowed.
  • Click Submit Information.
