Take time for you and tea

It’s no secret that folks working in the health science fields have stressful lives due to multiple factors like workload and compassion fatigue. It may be less known that veterinarians have up to four times the suicide rate of the general population which is often attributed to poor work-life balance and well-being. The Global Tea Club will be at Carlson Health Sciences Library Wednesday, 5/15/19, from 5-6pm to bring awareness about tea and how it can aid a better sense of well-being. The theme is “Take time for you and tea”. The global tea club will talk about why tea is a great option for mindfulness and well-being. Please drop by Carlson Library on Wednesday to sample tea with members of the Global Tea Club.
