New Bookcase Display Highlights Research in Archives and Special Collections
A new bookcase display featuring publications by researchers who have used Archives and Special Collections resources is now on display in Shields Library, near the Circulation Desk.
Archives and Special Collections is visited daily — both online and in person at Shields Library — by undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, researchers, and the general public who come to use our unique resources in their research.
Our collections have supported a wide range of publications, including monographs, scholarly articles, exhibits, websites, and films.
Drawn from the library’s circulating collection, the selected works on display include publications by UC Davis authors and reflect a variety of subjects, from suffragism and entomology to tractor buying and Chinese art history. The next time that you are in Shields’ lobby, be sure to take a peek!
Our website contains a more exhaustive list of works by researchers who have used Archives and Special Collections resources and have cited our collections in their publications. We welcome additional citations to this list.
