Fine Press and Book Arts Collection

Collection Information

Size of the Collection

About 400 volumes.

History of this Collection

While examples of fine printing and the book arts have been a part of the Blanchard Rare Book Collection since its inception, this collection was established in 2010 in order to bring together some books, particularly some of the smaller and more fragile examples of the “book as art” into a small teaching collection in order to better support classes in the Art and Design departments. (Note: books that sit safely on bookshelves still continue to be added to the Blanchard Rare Book Collection instead).
