Gerome the gnome is happy to be home
Gerome had an enjoyable trip to Denver, but is happy to be back home in Davis. In celebration of his return, he decided to highlight the 1881 work, Amenities of Home, by M.E. Sherwood. The work, volume 5 of Appletons’ Home Books series, discusses subjects that are outlined in chapters such as: “Education and Manner of Girls,” “Respect for the Rights of Others,” “The Manners of Young Men,” “The Capabilities of Home Education,” and “Making Home Attractive.”
