During the Winter break, December 12, 2025 - January 4, 2026, UCD Request and UCD Digitization will be unavailable. Books and articles may still be ordered via Interlibrary Loan. However, these requests may not be filled until after the new year.

Vessela’s work is motivated by a vision for streamlined access and services around data and infrastructure for research and research outputs. Vessela also serves as the product manager for Aggie Experts, a collaboration platform that the UC Davis Library is developing in support of the Chancellor’s Strategic Plan. She has a Ph.D. in molecular biology, and in her previous role, championed data management services at the library.
