Project Description
Nai’a used library-licensed health databases including PubMed and CINAHL to explore the acute cognitive impairment known as delirium and its impact on the longevity and quality of life in older adults. Through her research she advocates for increased prevention research, earlier recognition in the healthcare profession and at large, and policy reform to improve existing standards of care.
