2016 Olympics

Rugby’s back!

For the first time in 92 years, rugby returned to the Olympic Games. Deodoro Stadium in Rio de Janeiro hosted the 2016 competition, featuring Rugby Sevens – a fast-paced seven-a-side version of rugby union where two teams attempt to score tries or win penalties, moving an oval-shaped ball from player to player by hand, always passing it backwards.
