Closure of Carlson Health Sciences Library as a Library User and Study Space
The Carlson Health Sciences Library closed as a library user and study space as of June 10, 2022.
- Some library services and most library employees have moved to Shields Library. The librarians who support research and instruction will retain office space in Med Sci 1B (the building where the Carlson Health Sciences Library was located).
- The print collections will be moved out of the Carlson Health Sciences Library over time. Throughout the transition and beyond, the library catalog will reflect the current location of all materials, and the library commits to offering scanning and shipping services for collections that have not yet been rehomed from the Carlson Health Sciences Library.
- The library is consulting with the School of Veterinary Medicine on how best to provide appropriate access to course reserves.
