A collection of three documents relating to mining claims in the Chinese Camp Mining District in California in the aftermath of the California Gold Rush. The documents relate to prices paid for the claims and detailed descriptions of their boundaries in and near Chinese Camp. In addition to the land, the documents also report related sales of mules, mining carts, and stables along with one of the claims. Chinese Camp is a small town in Tuolumne County, California that was once the main destination for Chinese laborers in the early years of the Gold Rush.
