Introduce library resources to your students

We do our best to accommodate requests submitted with less notice. We may also ask to meet with you before the session to discuss your learning outcomes and goals, and to align the session with your assignment(s).

Tips for an Effective Class Experience

  • Provide students with their assignment before the library instruction session
  • Provide us with students’ paper topics before the class so that they can be used as examples during the instruction session
  • Provide us with instructions about the types of resources needed to complete the assignment. (For example: books, popular articles and/or peer-reviewed articles, newspaper articles, etc.)

We also offer one-hour general research workshops for students throughout the year at Blaisdell Medical Library and Shields Library. Some required advanced registration; others are drop-in.
