Vector-borne disease control plan for Medical Entomology (ENT 153)

Project Description

Inspired by her father’s stories of facing malaria among other dangers as he fled the Cambodian Genocide in the late 1970s, Ong developed a vector-control plan to eradicate the disease and prevent a resurgence of drug-resistant malaria in Cambodia. With guidance from librarians Ruth Gustafson and Erik Fausak, Ong referenced more than 70 books, journal articles, and primary sources to inform her research.
