About the Exhibit

“Advancing health education, advocacy, and social well-being in queer populations” highlights a unique selection of 29 books about LGBTQ+ health from the UC Davis Library collections. The exhibit items represent a variety of genres and academic disciplines, including consumer health, health professional, and children’s literature, with further explorations of LGBTQ+ health from the perspective of gender studies, psychology, sociology, and education. Books are available either in print or eBook format–details and availability may be found in the Library catalog.  Library staff are available to assist in locating exhibit items, or to identify additional related resources that are available in the UC Davis Library collections. Print books are available for check-out during the exhibit by library account holders. Members of the public are welcome to browse available print books and use the public access computers to view eBooks.
