The majority of the collection is a clipping file maintained by IGA from 1971-1987 on the following areas: Davis/Yolo County, Sacramento City/County, and the California State Government. The collection also contains publications produced by IGA and the Agricultural History Center. The Institute of Governmental Affairs (IGA), founded in 1962, supports social science research, graduate student training, public affairs programming, and outreach activities at UC Davis
