The collection contains thirty-one letters written between 1899-1917.The majority of the letters are to Lydia Vineyard Gleason (1877-1966)from her husband Elmer Percy Gleason (1875-1935). The letters discusstheir courtship, family news, as well as life in Northern California atthe turn of the twentieth century.
