Project Description

Saada’s paper presents a holistic review of Huntington’s disease, a hereditary condition marked by both physical and cognitive deterioration. Based on sources from the scientific literature as well as patient support sites, Saada discusses the genetics and clinical progression of the disease, emerging research in animal models, and promising new therapies including RNA interference (RNAi), which works by directly reducing gene expression.
