Systemwide library facilities (SLFs) are high-density storage sites for the UC Libraries system.

Requesting Material from an SLF

UC Davis students, staff and faculty may request delivery of SLF materials via the library’s Interlibrary Loan service. Most requests are filled within two business days.

UC Davis Library Special Collections materials stored at SLF-N (formerly NRLF) must be requested through the Special Collections Request System (Aeon) and used in the UC Davis Library Special Collections Reading Room.

Visiting an SLF

Users are welcome to visit the SLFs in-person and view materials on-site in their reading room. Please refer to the individual SLF websites for hours and special instructions for visitors.
