About the Exhibit

“Advancing health education, advocacy, and social well-being for queer populations” highlights a unique selection of over 30 books about LGBTQ+ health from the UC Davis Library collections. The exhibit items represent a variety of genres and academic disciplines, including consumer health, health professional, and children’s literature, with further explorations of LGBTQ+ health from the perspective of gender studies, psychology, sociology, and education. Books are available either in print or eBook format–details and availability may be found in the Library catalog.  Library staff is available to assist in locating exhibit items, or to help identify additional related resources that are available in the UC Davis Library collections.
