Blaisdell Medical Library 20th Anniversary
The history of the Blaisdell Medical Library tells the story of an institution that went from facing space constraints to becoming a state-of-the-art hub of research and learning.
In 2006, the medical center library was dedicated as the Blaisdell Medical Library after professor emeritus William F. Blaisdell (BML). The new construction provided BML with a 15,000-square-foot facility, enough space to house reading areas, group study rooms, and traditional library stacks. The library also features a media center for advanced graphics applications and consultation rooms designed to facilitate collaborative learning and research with colleagues at remote sites.

The exhibit will be on display from September 11, 2026, to January 1, 2027.
