Small Farming

The Northern California Food Movement increased the visibility of small farmers in the state. This focus on the origins of the ingredients also brought renewed attention to agricultural sustainability and the ethics of farm labor, laying the groundwork for popular interests in and appreciation for the “farm-to-fork” concept.
