1100 linear feet of materials from 1795 to the present

Most of the materials focus on research and development in the United States and are in the English language, though a small portion of the materials deal with European machines and concerns. Formats represented include pamphlets, correspondence, drawings, blueprints, photographs, microfiche, ledgers, and audiovisual materials. Professor of Agricultural Engineering, University of California, Davis (1935-1969).

    Catalogs, dealer-only publications, advertising scripts, memoranda, speeches, reports, and photographs relating to agricultural technology, centering on the Oliver Corporation and its antecedents. Bakken worked for over thirty years in agricultural advertising, primarily for Oliver Corporation, Minneapolis-Moline, and other companies associated with White Farm Equipment Division, White Motor Corporation.

First, submit a request:
